Telephone Compatibility |

Mobile
phones that are Bluetooth® Compatible will in almost all cases work with
all of our products
to some degree. Phones can be 1.1, 1.2, or 2.0 compliant and can have either Handsfree or Headset profiles (Headset profiles sometimes do not allow
for Caller ID or phonebook upload). For automatic phonebook transfer,
the phone also must support Object Exchange (OBEX) or PBAP profiles.
EIS is
proud to offer many different Bluetooth® products for a number of
different cars. In some cases we manufacture the devices and have
control of the Bluetooth® compatibility and in some cases we do not.
Over the past few years we have maintained a list of phones that are
known to be compatible with the various products that we offer but it
has become impossible to keep up with each phone offered by each
manufacturer as well as the different software revisions on these
phones. Now that Bluetooth® has become increasingly mainstream
there are less and less incompatibilities.
We no
longer maintain a list of compatible phones for each of our product
offerings and encourage you to ask your retailer about your specific
phone. All of our retailers offer at least a 30 day no questions
asked return policy so that you can try it with your phone to see if it
is compatible. Another avenue that many of our customers take is
to install our product and then go to the cell phone store and try out
the phone(s) that they wish to use.
Feel
free to contact us or your retailer with any questions but we do
encourage you to try it for yourself!
